I’ve always known that I had an artistic side, and I tried expressing it through different activities such as drawing, sketching and performing arts, but they never really worked out.

That is until I started photography. This is how I express myself and create art.

My name is Valentin Shen and I am a 15-year-old high school student in Hong Kong. I mainly focus on photographing birds and other wildlife that can be found locally, but I also love a bit of street photography and occasional portrait photography through covering school events. I am using the Nikon Coolpix p950 superzoom telephoto camera, with 83x optical zoom, ideal for wildlife photography. Besides photography, I also play the violin and participate in various water activities in school.
